This will be an evening of two choral/orchestral masterworks, one sacred and the other secular – J.S. Bach’s stirring ‘Ascension’ Oratorio/Cantata no. 11 [in a Calgary premiere] and the delightful ‘Hunt’ Cantata no. 208 featuring the beloved ‘Sheep May Safely Graze’.
